JE PFC on the International Peace Day at the Buea Central Prison

Justice and Equity- Prison Fellowship Cameroon on the International Peace Day decided to celebrate this day through it’s Prisons 4 Peace Project also supported by Cameroon Association for Media Professionals – CAMP, United Action for the Underprivileged Foundation- UAUF, Reach Out, and ProPeace, decided to celebrate this day at the Buea Central Prison, Bamenda and Banyo Prisons. Southwest and Northwest Women Task Force (SNWOT) outreach to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) on the 21 of June 2018.

Following the on-going Anglophone crisis in Cameroon, a majority of inhabitants of some of the Southwest and Northwest villages have flee from their villages because their houses have been burnt to ashes they don’t have a place to stay. They have managed to run to areas where its a bit save.It was due to this reason that, Civil Society Organizations led by women came out with Southwest and Northwest Women Task Force (SNWOT), support the IDPs with the we could.
